Part of JD Wetherspoon
Part of the nationwide JD Wetherspoon chain, rather small compared to some of their other pubs. Mainly attracting older clientele and football fans before and after home matches (avoid at these times). Food Ok, good selection of drinks and at very reasonable prices. There is no car park at this pub so you need to park on the surrounding streets, otherwise you can park at the Mayflower centre and stroll down.The staff are usually friendly, the cooked breakfasts are quite nice although some of the other food is unpleasant as the majority is microwaved.Overall an acceptable place to have a drink, but maybe not to eat.
