HARRABEER COUNTRY HOUSE is a small, quiet, friendly,NO SMOKING, family run establishment, and has 2 SELF CATERING suites in the recent barn conversion. It was also a top 20 finalist for the prestigious AA Landlady of the Year 2002 Award.
We are graded under the new AA and Visit Britain schemes as 4 star Guest Accommodation and retain the AA red diamond award for accommodation quality.
There is a Master bedroom featuring lovely views over Dartmoor with full ensuite bathroom and quality extras with the 5 other comfortable standard bedrooms enjoying ensuite or private bathrooms, TV, tea/coffee making facilities etc.
BREAKFAST is served in the attractive restaurant: but why not book an EVENING MEAL (24 hrs in advance) to savour tastes of good food and wine? There is a gracious SITTING ROOM to relax in, an open fire that burns on cooler evenings in the licensed BAR and the small, pretty, secluded GARDEN to sit in when warmer.
If you would prefer to SELF CATER, there are 2 well-equipped suites available in the tasteful barn conversion. Each comprise of a twin/double bedroom ensuite, a living room area with a double put-u-up settee, table and chairs and kitchenette. Guests are welcome to eat in hotel restaurant for breakfast and evening meals and to use the bar and other hotel facilities, if they wish. Conveniently located for outdoor activities on and around Dartmoor with a host of interesting places to visit and yet only 9 miles from the city of Plymouth for shopping, nightlife and culture we are the ideal location.
For the LESS ABLE BODIED, should you require accommodation on ground floor level and the lower suite is available, we would be happy to accommodate you on a bed and breakfast basis in this suite. JUST ASK. We will endeavour to oblige!
