We ate at Sam's on Friday 18th June 2010 We walked around the harbour looking for food but was drawn back to Sam's because the menu, prices and atmosphere seemed better. There was a posher looking restaurant on the quayside but, if like us, you are dressed slightly more casual then Sam's definitely is the place ! Ed and his team (including the chatty 'show-off' cocktail barman in the funky upstairs area) were totally focussed on attending to us and the food was excellent and very good value for money ! We had a great meal with a couple of rounds of drinks for roughly £30 and I would strongly recommend the mussels :-)
we loved Sams. great food and atmosphere helped by the Red Hot Chilli's, Radiohead and good music. Irritating you can't book but it was worth the wait - accompanied by a drink or two at the bar
