• At last ladies friendly garage

  I was so relieved to find Tyresmiths after dealing with yet another dishonest garage. I had my Vauxhall car broken by JMA Vauxhall Repair Centre. To cut the story short JMA completely removed my EGR valve, the engine warning light came on, I asked to put EGR valve back - the guy became furious. Of course he did not put it back properly - the car was misfiering, almost impossible to drive. I went to Evans Halshaw for diagnostics (�£70), they confirmed EGR valve was not fitted properly and quouted �£300 to fix the problem which I did not have before. I was devastated and felt cheated, dreading going to another little garage trying to find a better price. By chance I found Tyresmiths and phoned them describing the problem, they quoted �£170. Next day I came there and was surprised to see that they had already ordered a new EGR valve for me and showed it to me. I was also relieved to see there another “stupid missus” (as they called me in JMA). At last ladies friendly garage I thought. The car was ready the same day, the guy was so nice and polite, I will always use this garage in the future. Avoid JMA Vauxhall Repair Centre at any cost – the are JMA Vauxhall Break Centre.

• Quality quality garage

  I'm new to the area and reliased my car needed MOT so I found this website and read the reviews. I'm pleased to say that the reviews are well written and very true. This is a fantastiv garage, very friendly, efficient and cost effective. Great people and I will definately take my car back there for any business!

• Finally, a garage you can trust!

  Paul Miller runs this garage and it's nice to see someone with values, especially in this trade. The customer & quality comes first. I have received excellent service everytime. I use Paul/Tyresmiths for my car and now my business van. Besides looking after my tyres they also do my servicing, MOT's and repairs at a reasonable price. What more do you want?

• Don't bother with anyone else!

  Been using Tyresmiths for almost 3 years now. You won't find a more honest and dedicated group of guys to work on your car anywhere else in Plymouth. They never 'create work', they always do it in the time that they say they will (or less), and for the price they say they will. And despite their name, they do a lot more than tyres! Can't think of a single job they can't do (they do MOTs aswell)
