Review: Callington Laundrette

The machines are in dire need of servicing, when you're paying between £8.40 and £5.60 for a load you expect your laundry to smell fresh and come out significantly wrung out, not soaking wet still, convenient that you then have to spend additional money drying. It's extremely frustrating, please spend time on servicing your machines so customers can actually have fresh clean items.

Review: Johnny Kemp Building & Roofing

Hired these clowns to do some building repairs and ruined it. Gave them specific instructions on what I wanted and the wall ended up falling and damaging my car. I recommend not to use this company, was also threatened verbally.

Review: Sutton Builders

I met with Mike initially to discuss some internal and external alterations for my terraced house. He provided a detailed quote with items listed and costs associated clearly broken down. I met with Mike again to discuss his quote and some changes in scope of work. All went well and we penciled in a date for work to begin while I waited for a revised quote. This came through and costs had increased (expected) to approx £14k. I asked Mike for a third meeting to discuss some aspects of his quote. As a single, pregnant woman I asked a friend to come along to help me understand the work in more detail. Mike got extremely defensive at any questions asked about his quote despite the fact we were simply seeking to understand what his costs entailed e.g. skip hire listed, where will skip go? Turns out no skip. Anyway, at the end of meeting we agreed for work to commence in approx 8 weeks time from that meeting and I went ahead and ordered new French doors (£1800) due to lead times. After this meeting Mike went AWOL. He didn't respond to me until Saturday (11/06/2022) when he told me he could bo longer complete the job. Work was due to start today 13/06/2022. I am now 7 months pregnant, no builder and new French doors in my hallway with no one to complete that work + other alterations that were planned. I consider him to be highly unprofessional - you should be able to question a quote without your builder getting defensive and going AWOL. I would not recommend.
