AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Avoid this place. You will find the charges extortionate in comparison to the work done and that the garage will not stand behind repairs on the basis that classic cars are old and go wrong - even if the part fitted is new. This business does not understand the Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulations or the 1978, 1979 & 1982 Acts which introduce, and also allow the Consumer to enforce, Statutory Consumer Protections. The garage is the recipient of multiple complaints to Devon Trading Standards (I am one of the complainants) and has been before the small claims court as both a defendant (unsatisfactory works, unauthorised works, fraudulent practices &c.) and also as a plaintiff, quick to exercise a lien over your car if you quibble with the extortionate pricing. Avoid this place unless you like trips to Court. Note to editors: all claims made within this review are fully backed up by documentary evidence laid before the Court.
